What Does War Mean? International Arts Competition.

On Saturday 13th May, one of our pupils attended an online presentation to celebrate his achievement of 3rd place in the 'What does war mean to me?' competition. There were young people from all over the world in the presentation (Taiwan, Singapore, UAE and Ireland etc), and our pupil had the privilege to represent the UK. The presentation gave the winners the opportunity to discuss with the judges what inspired their entry, be it a poem, a speech or a piece of art. Our pupil spoke beautifully about how the war memorial in Woking inspired his speech, in particular references to anonymous soldiers.
