Get Ready for My Earth Hour!

Learn to Make a Difference - Get ready for My Earth Hour - Coming 16th March

ITZA has been proud to work with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to help young people learn more about how important it is to protect the natural world. Schools now have the chance to join a My Earth Hour programme where students receive a certificate for completing an hour of learning about their planet - and schools have the chance to accumulate 100s of Earth Hours before the global switch off on 26th March. The competition runs between 16th and 26th March 2022 on itza.io and is aimed at students in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8.  To play in the school competition is very simple, please follow the steps below.

  • To participate in Itza’s My Earth Hour Quest, students simply need to register at itza.io with an email address (<13’s will be asked to provide a parent/guardian email address) and then from 16th March they just need to explore the new content and enjoy learning!

  • As part of the school competition for Earth Hours, please ask your students to add their Itza username to this form once they have done their one hour of learning to receive their My Earth Hour Certificate (they can download their own personal My Earth Hour certificate from their dashboard on itza.io).
